Our talent flourishes through our diverse and inclusive culture. We create success, together. We respect individuality and everyone is welcome to apply for our roles, regardless of their background and identity.

With a rich history spanning both sides of the Atlantic, we are present in the major commercial centers that matter to our clients: the U.S., the U.K., Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Combining scale with the speed clients demand, our defining capabilities are Major Litigation, Critical Transactions, Strategic IP, and Private Wealth. Our focus on these capabilities means that alongside law students, we also recruit a wide range of students who have studied non-law degrees.

Vacation schemes/Training contracts

We offer opportunities both in London and Cambridge. Our two-week Spring and Summer Vacation Schemes let you experience what working in a law firm is really like. You'll build your skill set through group activities and individual tasks, and at the end you'll be considered for a training contract. Our training contract allows our trainees to experience six-month seats in four different practice groups, including one contentious seat and one in our corporate or finance areas. You'll work closely with associates on high-quality work from the outset with client contact. Most importantly, regular support and feedback every step of the way ensures that your career goes in the direction you want it to.

Events and First Year Insight Scheme

Law firms have different cultures and capabilities, and it can be tricky to assess which firm is the best fit for you from the outside. Our Open Days, webinars, and First Year Insight Day provide you with the opportunity to learn about the firm, hear from our lawyers, and experience what makes Winston Taylor special, either in person or online.

Solicitor apprenticeships

Our six-year Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship Program will provide you with an opportunity to gain an LLB (Hons) in legal practice and to qualify as a solicitor. Each week, you will spend four days working in one of our practice areas, working on complex cases for our clients, and one day studying with our training provider, University of Law. All your tuition fees will be paid for, and you'll earn a salary while training and gaining your qualifications.
